Leaving the calm that’s filled his recent absence from the game in tatters, Komposa is back and he’s not playing. No stranger to dropping heaters, his latest brings along another of Bristol’s heavy hitters on production and guest mic duties in a team-up that borders on overkill.

With his last full project, the explosive Charging Up, released way back in 2020 and most recent
heater ‘Rolling’ landing nearly a year ago on Brain Scran Records, K may have been quiet lately but
he’s been putting in work with a slew of new tracks on the way. Fittingly, that silent grind and the ethos of talk less, do more, is the inspiration for new single ‘Powers’.

In his own words ‘Powers’ is about the need to keep the talk to a minimal and go hard with action. Partly, a celebration of a dedicated work ethic and high calibre output that results from it. Partly, a healthy dose of shade thrown at contemporaries who spend more time shouting about how they’re doing bits than actually getting anything done. For proof that hard work bears fruit, look no further than the rampage of grimey flows and infectious hook melodies that Komposa wraps the whole statement in.

‘Powers’ took shape written over a stomping instrumental by Bristol production heavyweight Baileys Brown. Once half a song had taken shape, it found its way back to the beatmaker with an invitation to step into his MC alter-ego Axel Holy to complete. 48 hours later… a fully written, recorded and mastered version of ‘Powers’ returned as a beast of a tune.

‘Powers’ drops via Komposa’s own NTT Ents imprint on all digital platforms on 08/07/2022 alongside visual for powers shot by Grizzly Panda.
